Bluetooth expert Nick Hunn, Vice Chairman at the Mobile Data Association and CEO of WiFore, has released essential reading material in a free market report into why Bluetooth is the winning the battle to connect the growing wireless medical and fitness market.
Whilst it’s probably a bit enthusiastic to name the Wii Fit as probably “the most successful personal healthcare device ever” it is quite amazing how quietly a movement of this scale is taking place and the market needs to realise that “over 20 million health and fitness devices depend on Bluetooth and that number is growing every month”.
An excellent read and the conclusion is spot on: “It’s time to recognise that Bluetooth is the obvious choice and get on with delivering the next generation of mobile health and fitness products”
