A big thanks to Nokia and London Calling for awarding 3G Doctor with the latest Nokia N97 following a open competition for members of the Symbian Developer Community on popular microblogging site twitter.
The competition (organised by Andrew Grill, Digital Strategist & Evangelist and Janaina Pilomia, Forum Nokia) awarded us for an application we’re building that’s designed to be supported by the 3G Doctor service and will offer patients who have suffered a stoke the ability to monitor their health by doing nothing more than playing some fun touch screen games.
Whilst the Nokia N97 Pocketable Computer is without doubt on the very highest end of the smartphone device spectrum, as with all top end Nokia’s these specifications are destined for more affordable mass market devices so it’ll be great to see how good we can make the application with the most capable 3G Video Mobile ever produced.
We plan to make the tool available on the OVI App Store in time for the Symbian Exchange and Exposition. Just like the Symbian Platform we’re open to innovation so get in touch if you’d like to help us/collaborate on the building/testing of the tool…
