Where’s the evidence that patient ratings on the NHS Choices website is driving up standards?

providing information to patients in the hope that it will drive up standards is dangerous… …If patients are not going to avoid a hospital that is involved in a massive scandal, that has been splashed across the news as having killed people, then it seems unlikely that patients will avoid a hospital on the basis of information on the NHS Choices website
