The Qualcomm Tricorder X Prize focus shifts

Mark Winter Senior Director Qualcomm Tricorder X Prize

I’m so happy to be able to report on this change at X Prize Foundation. Talk has changed from ideas about how “a human doctor just can’t cut it in today’s technological world. At best, a doctor is a gateway to subspecialists or technology tests” and Mark Winter, Senior Director, Qualcomm Tricorder X Prize, tells me it’s now all about “smarter health consumers that can make better choices and work more collaboratively with their Doctors“.

Might have to allocate some time to make an application as this sounds just like what we’re focused on doing here at 3G Doctor since 2006 in the UK and Ireland.
