Meet with us at Senior Market Mobile 2010 Conference

Readers of this blog will know the enthusiasm that I have for mobile phones that address the needs of seniors as I think mobile adoption by seniors is a prerequisite for the success of mHealth. Fortunately this opinion is one shared with the organisers of the Senior Market Mobile Conference who have asked me to present a mHealth talk at their event in London next week.

Taking place at the Royal Institute of British Architects, 66 Portland Place, London W1B 1AD, on the 6th July 2010, The Senior Market Mobile 2010 Conference will be looking at how the mobile industry has remained ignorant of the needs of consumers who are more than twice its age.

With insights into how the generation which is older, wealthier and does not expect all services to be free can be served and the enormous commercial and social opportunities that exists will be a “dream team of experts” including:

> Sir Stirling Moss OBE, Retired Racing Driver (“the greatest driver never to win the World Championship“, “Twittering Octogenarian“)
> Chris Millington, Managing Director, DORO
> Eveline Pupeter-Fellner, Founder, Emporia
> Ewan Macleod, Editor, Mobile Industry Review
> Gus Desbarats, TheAlloy
> Ian Hay, Orange/FranceTelecom
> Ian Hosking, Senior Research Associate, Cambridge University
