Brian Dolan at Mobihealthnews is doing a sterling job posting mHealth news from his back-to-back tour of Healthcare conferences in the USA. This latest news comes from the American Telemedicine Association meeting in Las Vegas.
Fraser Edward, Health & Lifescience Business Manager for Research In Motion, revealed during a panel discussion that the BlackBerry App Store has launched 30 healthcare applications within its recently launched BlackBerry App World store. During his presentation slides showed 12 mobile health companies that Edward reffered to as “BlackBerry Solutions Partners” including AllSportGPS, BonesInMotion, BodyMedia, Myca, Sensei, Tolven, CapMed, t+ Medical, Medtronic, Healthanywhere, Confidant and AMD.
Intrigued i thought i might check out the other 18 applications… but after 10 minutes looking i gave up the search… As a big fan of BlackBerry I hope they can do something about that poor discovery experience.
