Kaiser Permanente reporting nearly half of patients using their online services are aged 65+

“…when Kaiser collects information about you they can also tailor the recommendations to use. so online you can email your Doctor, you can get your lab results, you can do a lot of things online at Kaiser. We right now have about 60% of our eligible members, meaning people over (age) 13, have access to the personalised (ONLINE) features, they have a password and they can get into their own medical record, and interestingly 40% (ARE) over 65 (YEARS OF AGE). So the older people are using it too.”

I just hope more healthcare professionals become aware of this as they need to leave at home their condescending approach to seniors, especially now that retired 70 years are making cool iPhone Apps!
