The Cult of Mac reports on how entrepreneurial Surgeons Dr. David Armstrong and Dr. Lee Rogers are using iPhone 4’s in the USA to collaborate in providing care to patients.
Interesting that despite this great use case the author (Nicole Martinelli) still seems uncertain of the value of video calling.

I wonder if this opinion would change if Nicole was in the position of this patient? I don’t know a single patient who wouldn’t want this more collaborative expert care experience? Particularly as it doesn’t involve the additional scheduling/travel costs that would normally be associated with getting another Doctors opinion.
