CES Digital Health event doubles in size & increases mHealth focus

On 11-12 January 2012 the Digital Health Summit takes place at the Consumer Electronics Show (10-13 January) in Las Vegas and it’s great to see it’s been expanded to run over 2 days (in 2011 it was only a single day event and in 2010 it was much smaller and shared with the Silver Summit) particularly as it now features so many mHealth themes and innovators.

New session themes include:

“The Patient as Consumer”, “The Doctor in Your Car”, “Diabetes and Obesity: How can Technology Change the Outcomes?”, “The Connected Healthy Kitchen”, “How Gaming and Social Media are Revolutionizing Healthcare”, “Is Mobile Making Us Healthier?”, “Simplifying the Architecture for Connectivity”, “Managing the Health of the Aging Population”, “Who’s Paying the Bill for e-Health?”, “The Next Great Frontier: Digital Health”, “Is Technology Changing the Doctor-Patient Relationship?”, “The End of the Couch Potato: How is Technology Motivating us to Stay Fit and Healthy?” and “Consumer Impact: Case Studies in Quality of Life”
