On Friday, October 12, 2012 at the new Convention Centre in Dublin there will be a meeting to provide more detail on the opportunities surrounding eHealth Week 2013 which is being hosted in Dublin next May.
Earlier this year, thanks to the suggestion of Basil Strategies/Doctors 2.0’s Denise Silber, I was invited to present at the first ever mHealth themed session during an eHealth Week event and the success of this Copenhagen event makes me very optimistic about the opportunities for Irish innovators as the event comes to Dublin.
The info day (9:30-13:00) will feature presentations by Kevin Conlon, Irish Department of Health, Christina Roosen and Sean Roberts with HIMSS Europe, and is designed to help delegates learn more about the structure of the event, themes which will be covered and to help them understand more about the opportunities there are to participate.
There will also be a dinner held the evening before the event to welcome info meeting attendees to Ireland. The event is free to attend, to register simply click here.
Demoing some world first mobile tech innovations (that included their fleet of 3G Video Ambulances pictured below) the 2012 event in Denmark has set some very high standards for the 2013 Irish event to build upon and we look forward to playing our part in this opportunity for the Irish Healthcare market to share examples of innovative use of ICT technologies and best practice:
