At the 2012 mHealth Summit we hosted this competition for Samsung Mobile USA to help identify innovative mHealth entrepreneurs who wanted to partner with them as part of the firms major new mHealth strategy.
Selected by Samsung (the worlds biggest mobile brand) as ‘Best in Show’ was Liam Ryan, CEO, GetHealth, who recorded his pitch following his presentation at the WIPJam mHealth developer event. GetHealth have developed a corporate wellness tool designed to help people check in and earn points for “healthy Munch, Move and Mind tasks” – a big congratulations to this deserving Startup!:
Runner up was Leon Eisen, CEO, Oxitone Medical, who pitched to us at the 3G Doctor booth. Leon has developed this innovative wrist worn mHealth biosensor that can be used to monitor the health of patients remotely (eg. via a bluetooth connected Samsung Mobile/Tab):
