After a disastrous attempt by Orange and T-Mobile to converge their brands into the renamed UK only “EveryThing EveryWhere” brand they made another stab at it as “EE” that’s not working out anything like they’d hoped.
Now we have this Sunday Times article claiming that the network is prepared to sell the private text and call records of customers (along with data identifying “gender, age, postcode, websites visited, time of day text is sent [and] location of customer when call is made”) via Ipsos Mori, one of Britain’s biggest research firms.
