Would the introduction of pricing transparency alone pay for Healthcare to be documented?

The Telegraph Pharmacy charges NHS 300% mark up on cod liver oil tablets

I’m often posting about the value that effectively documenting care provides to Patients, Carers, to those looking to advance our understanding of medicine and healthcare practices and to payers by enabling us to create more streamlined services.

Something I rarely touch on upon is that the process of documentation would pay for itself by eliminating billions spent on fraudulent and wasteful processes that are commonplace in healthcare practices principally because they lack basic documentation and transparency.

It seems obvious to me that if every medication or treatment dispensed by the NHS had a price on it we’d never see another story like this in the news
