Will Partner’s $1.2 Billion EPIC system be the Thomas W Lawson of Electronic Disease Records?

At the recent Wearables Europe Conference in London I explained why I think mHealth is set to enable the transformation of today’s Electronic Disease & Billing Records into tools that are primarily designed to serve Patients.

I wonder if the $1.2Billion EPIC system bought by Partners will be the biggest EHR to ever be bought by a Hospital?
